Core Channel Node (CCN)

Functionality

Backbone of the network, managing data propagation and integrity. CCN operators require a significant token stake for network security and rewards. Each CCN can connect up to five Compute Resource Nodes (CRNs).

Incentivization and Staking

Operating a CCN requires an initial stake of 200,000 ALEPH tokens, with an additional 500,000 ALEPH staked by other participants to activate the node. Stakers will need a minimum of 10,000 ALEPH.

Connection Capabilities

Each CCN can connect to a maximum of five Compute Resource Nodes (CRNs), facilitating efficient task distribution.

Compute Resource Nodes (CRN)

Role

upply computational resources, process workloads, and store data. No initial token stake required, providing an easy entry point for node operators. CRNs must be sponsored by a CCN, preserving robust network structure.

Accessibility

No initial token stake is required to start a CRN, making it accessible for operators to contribute computing resources.

Association with CCNs

CRNs can only be connected to a CCN by the CCN owner, ensuring a structured and secure network topology.
